The National Equestrian Centre is a professional equestrian facility, set on 1500 acres of beautiful rural landscape, just 10 minutes from the centre of the Nation’s Capital. We provide all the support you need including Agistment, Coaching and Competition.

We believe there is much more to riding than just being on top of the horse.

Horses teach the art of non-verbal communication and give us insight into our own personal challenges and communication.

We incorporate horsemanship techniques into all our lessons, helping our clients to become ‘Horse People’ not just Horse riders. Our curriculum helps develop skills of confidence, communication, teamwork, responsibility, determination and patience.

NEQC’s unique, structured program creates well rounded, knowledgeable equestrians enabling you to pursue Dressage, Show Jumping, Eventing, Vaulting, other equestrian disciplines or just simply enjoy horses.

From pony rides to international competitions we seek to provide the best possible support to riders of all ages.

COVID

After 2 years of lockdowns NEQC is gradually reopening our programs and offerings. We are very conscious of the possible impact of COVID on our operations even though official mandates have been relaxed.

COVID is likely to be ongoing and we wish to avoid contamination within the NEQC facilities, staff and clients.  So we are retaining our strict COVID regime. This is a quarantine measure . Please follow our requests for masking, distancing and hygiene. These are posted at the Centre entry.

If you have symptoms of COVID please do not attend the Centre. Contraction of the infection amongst our staff could well lead to closure of our services.
